Located in the Amsterdam suburb of Slotervaart, the newly opened (June 2008) Best Western Blue Square Hotel offers easy access to the city centre, the business parks of Sloterdijk and the World Trade Centre.
The hotel offers 173 guest rooms, all well-furnished and beautifully decorated in a classical style. A number of the rooms have stunning views over the Erasmus canal.
The bustling city centre of Amsterdam can easily be reached by tram, a journey that takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively there are links to the city by train and by bus. Famous city highlights include Dam Square, the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank Museum; not forgetting the characteristic Amsterdam streets, houses and canals.
A short walk from the hotel, guests will find a local shopping centre and a market square. The Sloterpas Lake is also close by, perfect for enjoying some leisure time fishing, sailing, canoeing or walking.
